Mosaic originate from the careful cutting of single tessera, venetian enamel, marble and stone brought to a perfect shape and dimension by means of the only instrument available to the mosaic worker. Chisel and facing hammer.
A brief visit to the small photographic gallery herewith enclosed, can give you a clear idea of how they are used. Once tessera have been cut they are juxtaposed in the mosaic frame according the requirements so as to converge towards the execution of the mosaic.
Binders and supports of various types are used according to specific requirements.
